Running 6 bulb T5 tek by sunlight supply on my 75g reef setup. My other corals seem to be doing fine but my frogspawn doesn't seem to be expanding like it should. I have it near the bottom but wondering if my light setup isn't providing enought light near the bottom for it. Also if not should I just move it near the half way point

Maybe you have too much flow or current shooting at it.
What is your parameters? You might want to check your Alk and Cal

I have the same light fixture over the same tank. My Frogspawn is growing very fast and healthy...on the bottom. That light fixture will provide more than enough light for a frogspawn anywhere in your tank. I'd look into flow to start with. Is there too much direct flow on it? I'd also look at your nitrates...It seems frogspawn are quick indicators of water quality.

My nitrates are good. I do have a little flow going through but doesn't seem like to much. Maybe I'll try and redirect that for a bit.

my frogspawn didn't deal well with moderate flow, he started retracting a lot, i moved him to below the powerhead so it's low flow and he's been doing a lot better, your lighting should be fine, i have had mine under MH and pc's and it's liked both, i think they're pretty flexible in terms of lighting they'll do well under

I would try & relocate it about mid ways, unless you have a direct PH blowing on it, I doubt it would be hurting itu.

I have the same light fixture over a 90g corner tank so it's deep. Our frogspawn did great on the bottom for 5 months. Then our giant bta started invading so we moved the frogspawn to the very top of the tank. He's been happy either way and we keep the flow over him to a minimum.
