GAC & GFO

HI,

I'm doign a bit of research on Carbon for my tank and I keep comming across the acronyms CAG and GFO. I've done a search both here and RC but I can't seem to figure out what they stand for. Will someone please clarify? Thanks in advance. Also, any other Acronyms related to media that I should be aware of?

GAC -> Granular Activated Carbon
GFO -> Granular Ferric Oxide

Just short way of saying carbon in the case of GAC. GFO is used for removing phosphate from the system
