Just wondering if a galaxy can or will eat a snail?
found a snail on mine this morning then about 1hr. Later the empty shell laying at the base of it.

Do you mean galaxea? If the pics I was just looking at were correct and it is an LPS with sweepers then it is very possible for it to eat a snail.

Hello,
The genus Galaxea have some of the most powerful stinging sweeper tentacles of any coral and will kill almost all corals they touch. Their reach is up to 12" and they could easily kill a snail although it is uncommon.

Regards,
Kevin
