Gastropod Question.

I got a big hitchhiker on a LR from the LFS.

After looking online I found a site selling them. It's a Mouse Cowrie which is a Mollusk. He is really fast compared to my turbo's.

I can't find hardly any info on them at all. Can you guys enlighten me on some knowledge about them or experiences.

I was hoping that he would sand sift but he never touched the sand. He looks just like a big fast snail which a narrow footprint.

Mishikal they will eat algae and sometimes detritus. You wont find them in the sand but will work the glass and rocks. If you are looking for snails to work your sand get some nasserius.

Mishikal Do you have a picture of this mollusk? I have something in my tank that loks like a snail as far as the tissue but the shell is tottally different looking. it rools up like a potato bug when you pick it up. I have left it in the tank as it seems to be doing no harm to anything!

It's not what I have.

What I have is like a snail (hard shell) whith a slit opening on the bottom instead of round opening.
