IS800 Series - Food safe, okay to use
RTV 100 Series - Food safe, stronger than IS800
SCS 1200 Series - ?, strongest?

GE Silicon I - Can be used in Aquarium
GE Silicon II - Stronger than Silicon I, NOT Aquarium safe because of fungicide.

Here are what I found out from my research, would anybody able to comment on the relative strength of these silicon? And where these can be purchased (IS800, RTV100, SCS1200; Silicon I can be bought from standard hardware retail)?

thanks for any insights :)

I don't know anything about the strenght but I have heard that GE has changed their Silicone I to be mold resistant and it is no longer safe for aquarium use. Some people have been able to find some of the old tubes yet that say safe for aquarium use.

Thanks Brian, that change is only limited to GE Silicon II only.
