Allright.
I've debated, weighed the pros and cons, and waffled long enough. I am ready to dose with interceptor to get those little red bug b@st@rds! I know they are what caused lack of color and polyp extension, but I can not find any vet in WA who is willing to prescribe it. So who in WA has done it? I live in Federal Way. Someone tell me the name of the vet who is "willing to lose their license", which is what I keep hearing from vets.

Do you have a dog? All you need is to take in your dog, and get it checked out, they will then prescribe it to you. Also I know that Fragman has a hookup.

good luck

OK,
How do I fool my vet into thinking my dog has heart worms when it does not and the directions I have seen to use it call for the meds that are for 51-100 pound dogs. Even if I could fool the vet into believing my dog has heart worms It would take a blind vet to believe my Beagle is 51 to 100 pounds.

Maybe I could bring both my beagles. They add up to over 51 pounds. I could tell the vet that I will just break the tablets up accordingly, that way it would be cheaper. OH but this still doesn't change the fact that MY DOGS DON'T HAVE HEART WORMS

I have a really really pretty boxer. I took him from a friend who couldn't take care of him properly. I took care of "tyson" for 3 months while my friend deployed to Germany, and fell in love with him. My friend came back and took him back for a month, and just didn't have the time, so I made him give tyson to me. Krish why don't you start a dog thread and i will post some pix of my boy.

K...Sounds good. Sorry for the hijack jasonk. Hope you find your interceptor without someone going to jail(LOL)

Im going to take mine in at the middle of next month. You need to pay for a HW test. They will dispense Interceptor as a prevention if you have a outdoor dog. Just make sure you have or borrow a big dog. My vet will not give the white ones for prevention for any dog less than 100lbs otherwise you get the next size down.

Are you doing the test to get interceptor for your dog or for your tank? If for your tank maybe we could work something out, if you live in the area that is. And did you say that you need the white ones for the dose that Justin described?

I told the vet what I wanted it for. She was more than happy to tell me how to get around the system. The test is only good for one year and cost $45 and they charge $45 for a years supply of interceptor. If my dog really needs it he'll get it first and the rest is up for grabs, Tom is first on the list. 100lb minimum limit is not a problem for Mike.
I'm sure for a nice 15lb steak or a cow leg he'll be happy to take as many HW test as we want. :)

Tom is first?
Hey I started the post looking for the stuff. I didn't even know Tom needed it. And I am sure I could negotiate a good deal for Mike in exchange for the meds. LOL LOL

Tom and I have been working on this for a few weeks. If I do It right there will be a pretty good supply. After we get the written prescription it can be used at any online retailer.
Mike likes his steak medium cooked over charcoal, not gas. :)
