While this may not be exactly reef related, I feel it is, in a way. What started out as a Chinese Vessel poaching Giant Clams, in a Clam Reserve, has resulted in a search/rescue operation, for a missing airplane. Paul Allen's Mega Yacht, equipped with 2 helicopters, a submarine and an remote controlled under water vessel, has joined in on the search.

Haha. In all reality Paul Allen has done some really cool stuff and donated a lot of money to a lot of causes. Shoot, he wasn't even a football fan but he bought the Seahawks out of "civic duty" because he didn't want the team to leave town. That's a big investment to benefit the city. Sure he obviously makes money from the deal, but who risks that kind of money for something they don't like.

And hey, who doesn't want to be able to land 2 helicopters, and dock a submarine on your boat?? =) Haha

You'll have to blame the ticketmaster surcharges on ticketmaster, they're based out of California. With the fees they pass onto us i'm sure they are charging the people they sell tickets for a pretty penny also. One of the biggest scams out there i think, it costs more to print tickets at home then it does to have them physically mail them to you, how the hell does that work??

ummm paul alan owns ticketmaster as well as most of the towers downtown seattle. i know i helped build them.

Paul Allen owned ticketmaster, back in the mid 90's. He sold off most of his shares 15 years ago. It's been owned by USA Networks since. Well, technically it was another company that later changed to USA networks.
