On ABC news they have footage of a team of Japanese researchers attempting to capture a 24 foot squid. The mouth piece stated that they were attempting to capture it alive in order to study it. WTF. Where in gods name are you going to put a squid this size??? They have recovered dead "giant" squids before. Man's stupidity at it's finest. Leave well enough alone. Doesn't this country still permit whaling? Sorry, I needed to vent because I felt ashamed of my species.
