Is there any way you can tell if a 150 gal glass tank is tempered?

I am wanting to drill the back for an overflow system.

normally the onlp part of a tank that is tempered is hte bottom.....in my opinion and expierience......hth

Don't know how old it is or who makes it. there is really no indication anywhere on the tank.

then would say just the bottum is temperd
most of the new tank are all temperd
