Glue Magfloat to Powerhead?

What type of glue should I use to attach a Magfloat 350 to a Seio 1100 powerhead?
Will regular superglue (gel) work or some brand of epoxy (devcon) or other?

ive used PVC pipe glue. just put a dab on it and stick them together

What about aquarium SEALANT? (100% silicone rubber) I am a newbie when it comes to anything chemical. Sorry for hijacking.

silicone would probably work but the PVC cement will weld it permanently

Well my powerheads have the BAD habit of becoming unstuck from the side of the tank. I think I am going to get other magnets not magfloats. One other question...I am thinking I have to glue them out of the tank?

so you can hang the pump anywhere in the tank, kinda like suction cups

yes, do it out of the tank

I've had good luck with marine GOOP, just let it dry for 24hrs first. Best glue I"ve every used
