Glue

I had some left over "superglue" from my RC (airplane) days and it comes in handy. I use the "thick" and for a 2oz tube (I think) it's only $6.

For those bigger frags, you can use that Aqua-mend that HD sells, $3 for a tube, it's a two-part epoxy that you just pinch off what you want ans knead it till it's uniform. Then apply a goodly drop of super glue on one side, press into ?? and the other end do the same and place it in the tank where you want it.

this is only $6.49 for 2oz

take the frag and gently dry the base of excess water, if the rock is removable do the same. take the gel and add a decent blop to the frag base, let it set for a minute or two then press into desired location.

Loctite's quicktite super gel in the silver squeeze bottle last a long time and doesn't plug up if the nozzle is kept clean. Put a little on you fingure and rub into the rock where you want it under water, wipe off the frag a little and put some on it and stick to the rock and hold for half a min.

Wanareef When you use the epoxy you stick it with the super glue gel first??? If that works that is a cool idea because epoxy doesn,t stick so good on its own, but is much better to use for big corals. Is that the way u do it????

Yep, I knead the epoxy and add several drops of CA then apply it to the "big" coral and on the other end ddo the same with the CA, place it where you want it and hold for a couple of sec's. Then remember to stay away from there for the next day.

hth :)

Wanareef that is a neat idea i well have to do. by the way i also fly airplanes. I fly IMAC precision aerobatics, just had a contest down at Molalla by you. I am flying a 40% 540 edge with a DA150 in it, thanks for the info.

I use Flash Cyanoacrylate Super Glue (Thick). It comes in a 2 ounce bottle. So far it has worked fairly well. It costs about 7 bucks.
