On the 15th I will be heading up to the Tacoma area for some business and am wondering what are good reef shops in that area.

I remember Midway used to be an above average shop for fish and corals, but its been about 8 years since I have been in the area. Anyone know if they are still in business, have a website, are still decent, etc?

Not really wanting to drive as far north as Seattle, but I do remember a couple of shops in that area that were very good reef shops.
So anything south of Kent Wa that is decent would be added to my list of visitation spots.

Hi Jim! Welcome to Reef Frontiers!

Since you will be in Tacoma, I would highly recommend Indoor Reef. They are pretty kowledgeable, have great customer service, and on top of that have a neat little shop that, if I were closer, I would definitely frequent more! Their website is:

If you want to make the drive north to Seattle, I would recommend visiting Shelly & Phil & Coral Beauty.

Coral Beauty

There are others like Blue Sierra, Saltwater City, & Below Sea Level, but they've been on vacation, for I don't know how long now!
