In my quest for knowledge on reefing issues, I have purchased many, many books.
My first book purchase was the "Book of Coral Propagation, Volume One" by Anthony Calfo. It COMPLETELY FREAKED ME OUT!!! However after 6 months, I considered it a "must have" but maybe it shouldn't have been my first book. In my mind at the time, I should have been keeping my pH at 400 to 450 and my calcium at 8.2 to 8.3 (yes, I was really that confused).
Many dollars later and many months later, I find that my needs have changed when it comes to books. In the last 30 days, I have pulled the following books out of my bookshelf....
Corals of the World----3 part set by Jen Veron.
Ultimate Marine Aquariums by Michael Paletta.
Aquarium Corals by Eric Borneman.
Coral Reef Animals of the Indo-Pacific by Terrence Goslinger, David Behrens and Gary Williams.
Marine Reef Aquarium Handbook by Dr. Robert Goldstein.
What books do you like and why?
