I'm starting to plan out my rock-work sub-structure for a new nano project,
and I read on another board that Gorilla Glue is supposed to work on acrylic products...

Has anyone tried it?

-Is it reef safe?

-Does it (really) work on Acrylic?

-How strong is it? (strong as Weld-on? Or more like Silicon?)

(This is supposed to be my "low budget tank"--so if I can skip buying some new Weld-on, and just use my big, old bottle of GG--I will! ;) )

Gorilla glue in my experience is crap... its foams and gets all flakey and cracks easily and i highly doubt that stuff is non toxic, if your using to create rock structure "Great stuff foam" is your best bet and cheap.

i just bought a new can of weldon 4 if u need some your more than welcome to take some of mine.

Gorilla Glue no workie in aquarium! Tried to glue some rocks togather a few months ago and they didn't last long.

The stuff is freakishly strong when dry but didn't seem to last in my tank.

Poly glue will not even stick to acrylic unless its modified. Polys are designed for outdoors but not submerged.
