I came in this morning, and my larger urchin was upside down, I righted him, and he isn't looking so hot. All spines are lying down. I am getting ready to do a water change today. I put in a piece of sea weed, and my choco sea star is all over it. Anyone have any idea what to feed urchins? They aren't going for the sea weed, and I'm afraid they are wasting away. I'm also going to post this question in the invert board. Thank you for all your help!

Have you tried different flavors of seaweed? I had an emerald crab that wouldn't touch the green stuff but ate the brown like a fat guy (me), at the all you can eat buffet. Same thing with my tang that I had. You might try that and see. Just a thought.

Great idea. I have other things that are eating the seaweed, just not the sea urchins.

Update.
I'm still slowly raising the salinity, it's now up to a little over 1.022. I'm still buffering, and the pH is around 7.8-8.0.
I had the large urchin die on me. The other is doing well, but not moving much.
Good news,is that my sea cucumber I found some info out on.
-Filter Feeder
-I think it's a pygmy sea cucumber
I target fed him today because some of his feeding tentacles were out, and he sucked them back in. I was like "oh well, at least I tried." Then to my surprised he just opened up like a flower. It was really rewarding, I've been messing with this tank and not really getting any good satisfying things from it. So it was really nice to see the wonderful flowering of the sea cucumber. Now if I could only get THE STINKING SEA URCHIN TO EAT SOMETHING!!!
Grrrrr....
