I would tend to disagree. A video game that you can get 40+ hours of play out of would average $1.50/hr for entertainment. If you buy a blu-ray movie for $25 and it is 2 hours long you would have to watch it 9 times to equal the same entertainment value.

Plus when you look at it the way a do. A tank of gas for 1 week or a video game for a month?

I drive my 04 Acura TL. I wish I can drive my Toyota T-100 although that takes reg unleaded it cost me more to drive it. Man gas prices SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! My car eats wayyyyy better than I do lol.

LOL. Be thankful you don't have a diesel that averages 13 miles to the gallon. At 4.50 gal +/- I'd be willing to trade even at the Prem. price.

Looks like my GTA4 playing will be put on hold....my 360 is off for repairs for the 3rd time.

First time it died when I was towards the end of Bioshock.
Second time was due to the cd drive making an annoying noise that overpowers my surround sound....and had to get it in before the warranty was up.
Got it back intime for GTA4 just to see they never really fixed anything.

Apparantly this time I am supposed to get expedited service and a supervisor call back to confirm that it is fixed.

I have the Pro system. I got mine right after launch in December 2005 and didnt have a single problem until Janruary 2008 then while playing Bioshock the system simply shut off. Turned it back on and it froze, finally got it to work again, then it shut off, then it red ringed of death on me. Sent it in, got repaired, but they either messed up my disc drive or replaced it with a faulty one. Sent it back, got it back messed up still, so its off to the repair shop again.

This is what I get for making fun of my friend who had to send his back 5 times. (At the time mine was still error free.) Its Karma.

Wow that sucks man. I had my launch xbox 360 for about 6 months and it got the RROD. Sent that one in and got a refurb one back had that one for about a year and the cd drive was starting to get really really loud. So i went and traded it in for the new HDMI version of the 360. My son's just got the RROD a few weeks ago he had his for about 2 years so we sent that one in to get fixed. In the mean time i went and got him a new arcade model wanted the free games that come with it . I got my son's refurb back yesterday with a free month of xbox live. So now we have 3 xbox 360 i may go trade it in for in store credit at Gamestop..If you call them again i bet you could get a free game from them. They sent me Kameo when my first xbox 360 died....Just tell them all the problems you have had and tell them your very upset and they may give you a free game or even get a few months of xbox live Tell them your loosing out on your xbox live time

Yeah, I got a free month of xbox live with each repair, then GTA4 comes with a free month. Assuming they give me another 1 month card I'll have free live for 4 months. I'm just hoping they get this resolved with my current system. If they replace your system then you have to be online for your xbox live arcade games to work properly. If not then the system will only play them as trial since they were attached to your original system. I have read places that if you call in and complain they will redo the license to your current system but I have something like 45 arcade games downloaded so that would be a pain. Doesn't matter anyways, I'll just play the Wii until the 360 is back.
