Hi

I have a .75" granulosa frag that has grown a little since I got it, but now it has a dark brown fuzzy algae type growth on it's tip. The algae area is spreading, too. Does this mean that the coralite/s underneath are dead? Should I cut off the end, and if so do I need to cut beyond the edge of the algae?

thanks

Hello,
Yes the part that has algae growing on it is dead. You can spread some super glue over it or cut the tip and then super glue the cut area.

Regards,
Kevin
