Wow - Congrats Bigreefer on the upcoming frag, and to Barry on the engagement!!

Well, I can add to this thread too. We (my wife and I) just had our last ultrasound this morning. Everything looks fine and "she" already has hair !?!. Expected due date is the 13th of October, and yes have been through all the emotions and am now ready for her to join us, this is our first also. I also have a FW tank already setup up in her nursury, maybe in a few years I can turn it into a SW tank.

Congrats on your news, and yes you will be doing a lot of reading.....

nikki i just about died when i finally figured out what you were saying... i only had to read it 10 times... anyways thank you all!

Very Cool, slow down and enjoy them while you can. They grow up way to quick.

Oops, sorry Bigreefer....I refer to my little princess as my frag. :) After giving birth, a woman loses 3-5% of her brain, so I didn't think you wouldn't have a clue of what I was talking about. No really, didn't you know that when you become a father the frag fairy brings you a new frag and places it in a bag under your pillow? ;)

Eric - congrats on your's, too. I remember seeing my little one's hair in the U/S - and she had a ton (reminded me of "Heat Mizer" from that old Christmas claymation movie). It is such an amazing thing, isn't it?

Don - so true about them growing up too fast. I can't believe my little one is going to be 3 about the time Eric is in the delivery room!

Wish your wives well with the pregnancy and births!!!

Congrats one and all. This is exciting times for all of you.

Start practicing the following statement, "Yes dear, of course you're right". :)

Ya, hit me like a truck right after my grandson was born.

oct 13th ehh eric.... well the way everything is looking i just might get the best birthday prtesent ever. my birthday is april 28th, the due date is april 24th

yeah, it is closing fast, but I am very excited in a "scared" kinda way......
I just hope I can get salt and rock in my tank before then. I am almost done with the plumbing. Sorry for not taking pics, but I get to work on it a little bit almost every night.
I scored a Mag drive 12 for my return tonight, so I will have two pumps to sell soon.

Thanks for the well wishes everone, you guys rock!!

I will post a pic of the little one once I get a chance to get on the computer after we bring her home, so dont hold your breath from the stories I've been hearing, lol.

My wife is seventeen weeks into our first!!! Yesterday we got to hear Camden’s heartbeat. 140 bpm. Since I know that he's a boy and everyone else has yet to figure that out, I offer that as "proof" that he's a boy! In case your wondering how that works out, typically boys have slower heart rates than girls. At seventeen weeks, 140 is on the low side. And we got the car seat that I wanted; the one the matches my Jeep. Gotta travel in style ya know!!!

I've been a good husband and have gone to every appointment and helped register. And even though I didn't get to go to the PNWMC, I will go to the La Leche League conference in October. You see, I don't get the opportunity to say "Yes, dear." She just assumes that I'm going and plans it out that way. It's never occurred to me to set her straight! :p

Congrats to all, what a wonderful experience life's been thus far!!!

If not, there will be a lot of nights you can work on it ;)

Trevor - congrats!! Going to LLL conference, eh? LOL - I never thought about dragging the other half to that. And just so you know - never disagree with a pregnant woman.....we are always right, and if not we will cry until you agree.

I didn't have much choice Nikki; my Mother is Washington's (State)ACLU! She also works for Snohomish County's WIC program as the lactation consultant, and I think that I was the only 14 year old male in Junior High who knew that to breastfeed a child you hold them like a football. I think that I've been set up!

Trevor

Just want to say; you guys seem to be wonderful husbands, supportive and excited. I never heard anything like excitement, only......"how did that happen?" and "oh no, not again!". Wifes, kiss those boys, you have gems......best of luck to all of you and your new gifts! Love um lots and take lots of pic's, they do grow oh so fast, from itty bitty babies to teenagers in the blink of an eye! Best to all
