Green clove polyps

My green clove polyps were a pretty bright green when I first put them into the tank, now they are a light brownish with green highlights (sounds like a bad hair day). I had them towards the top of the tank then moved them down. (MH lights) What is the brown-out a sign of??? All water parameters are normal........

How old are your lights? How do your light compare with where you bought time from?

Lights are three months old. Looked very similar in my tank as at the store.

A lot of times a change in light, color or strenght can cause a change in color.

could just be changing zoaxanthelle to get best growth from new lighting

Im surprised no one has brought up chemistry.

When a person states "water #'s are fine" that is just a small part of the puzzle to water chemistry.

Am I wrong??
