GSP out of control.

My GSP on my rock is getting out of control and is starting to kill and grow over a couple sps colonies (even hydnophora) is there anything I can do to kill it or slow it down, It is on my base peice of rock which weighs 80 lbs and is impossible to remove... (with out completely disassembling my reef..)

I dont know if that would be safe as the GSP is with in 1/4'' from sps colonies...

i just grab an edge with forceps and gently peel it off

I totally peeled all I could, and then any chunks that decided not to peel off got kalked - after a few kalkings its pretty much all gone...

Even with aiptasia I have used kalk right next to my SPS - i'd just say do a little at a time/per day to make sure you don't screw with your levels too much.
