i just wanted to say HI DOODS/DOODETTES !!!

i really miss all the gang from RF and i hope everyone and everyone's tanks are doing great .

mine ...hmmm ... well i haven't been able to put to much attention on my tank because i've been just to busy running around with the kids, Antonio started preschool and Olivia (the baby ) has a therapist coming over once every two weeks or so, my tank looks just...ok but hopefully after i come back from California, i'll be able to put more attention on it.

aahh Caulerpa , it started to come out again out of the blue and it wants to take over a rock of zoos i got but the fight is on.. bua ha ha :badgrin::evil: .

now my green slimmer... well i guess i should just call him the miracle slimmer :lol:, for some reason some sort of brown jelly was taking over it and tryng to kill it fast SO i did a few iodine dips and well it seems like it won its battle ... i sort of lost two pieces but the third one is going good and in the second one, it's a little bit brown but there's still some tissue/skin on it (better than nothing hehe).

ohh yeah i also got some sort of brown looking thingy, i don't know it looks like cyano and diatoms but i dont' knwo what in the world it is (Jan it looks like what you had in your tank a few months ago remember )

My clowns keep getting bigger and fatter, my devil's hand leather gave me a surprice of giving me more babies and my xenia it's actually pulsing like never before :lol: (the tank must be really stinky:lol: ).

Anyways, i believe i'll be poping more when i come back from California in a week from now.

That stuff that I had was cyano. It's pretty much gone now after syphoning it out a couple of times and keeping the new sandbed stirred up. I also added more cleanup crew members so maybe all that together is what did the trick.

LMAO!!! :lol: .... ya it'd have been kewl to finally meet you but unfortunately it was just for a week and we were running around like nobody's business (i didn't even get the chance to go to reefer madness )
we went to Disney because we thought it was gonna be fun for Antonio but it was the opposite, he got scared and now we're dealing with being afraid of the dark and Mickey is not really a good mouse :lol: .
we went to Las Vegas too , i didn't get a chance to gamble because we were there just for a day but still, at least i got to see how tiny vegas is :lol:
i wanted to go to Seaworld but not to much time.
Overall it was a nice week but now.....i miss the sun !!!! .

JAn how did you get rid of the cyano? i'm thinking may be another 1200 powerhead to see if it'd get rid of the darn cyano and may be some more snails since i only got like 4 and a crab for the caulerpa :lol: .

well, Gaby, I syphoned it all out during a water change. After doing that twice over a couple of weeks, and adding a few more hermits and snails, it hasn't come back.
