Hello,
I think it can work well but you still have to use the same pumps and controllers for them. You may however achieve a better flow pattern. For me personally I don't care for it from a cosmetic view especially the rack mount displays. It reminds me of a museum displaying a collection of dead animals rather than a display representing a slice of a reef.

I agree on the rack mount display. I was considering using four maxi jet mods, one in each corner and have opposite corners run for a few hours then turn off and the other two turn on. I think a good electronic timer should do the trick.

Hi Greg,
Those Maxi-Jet mods are cool. You could run them on a Aquarium Systems wave power strip. I would run all of them all the time using the wave maker. They are inexpensive maybe $25 or so.
