Will running only one bulb on a magnetic ballast for two bulbs cause the one bulb to be over-worked or over powered or be harmful to the ballast? There is no switch or anything like that to turn one light off at a time, so i would just disconnect one line. Will this be okay?

Uhm, someone asked about this on the SLS forum at RC and Perry gave this funny answer having to do with heating of the elements blah, blah, blah from the one being used and the one not being used with some convoluted answer, but anyways, yes it's safe, but it does cause wear on the unused ballast and if there's only one on/off switch, you're still using electricity on the second one.
