have question about my ASM mini

I got the ASM mini two weeks ago and just now got it set up in my tank. (I know how could I have waited so long) Well now my sumps running and no leaks and everything looks great, but there are no bubbles going into my skimmer they are outside the canister. I checked to see if the pump was connected and it is. What's wrong?

Is water flowing through the skimmer, but no air is being sucked through the tube? Is this is a new skimmer, or used? Mine recently got the air hole in the venturi clogged and wasn't producing bubbles. I tried cleaning it out manually but couldn't find anything small enough. Then I had the idea to use a small drill bit to bore out the hole. This worked spectacularly and now it produces more bubbles than ever.

I got it fixed. the air hose came undone. It's working perfectly now. the asm mini skimmer is frickin awesome.
