Having a hard time keeping my PH above 8.0. I do water changes and watch all my other Niarate/Nitrites and everything else looks good. Help
So we are going to need a little more information on your system. What lights do you have, sump or not to sump. Do you have macro algae in your system. This is the kind of information that we need so that we can help you out. Do you buffer your system.
Here is a good article covering the causes of low pH and how to solve it. Basically it comes down to two common issues, elevated CO2 levels or low alkalinity.
Also in the article the author states that a stable pH at 7.8 - 8.0 is better than a pH around 8.3 that tends to fluctuate a lot.
