Hellfire Anemone? What is this?

Any ID help, experience appreciated. What to feed? Do not touch? Is it deadly?

I posted incorectly the other day about this anm. It is on page 65 of J. Sprungs book Invertabrates it states Actinodendron Hells fire or tree anemone
indo pacific
ornamental. reef safe. harmful to fishes. toxic to people
carnivoruous, filter feeded. Feed chopped fish or shrimp. Photosynthentic
Provide a sand substrate Potent Sting! the sting is reported to be excruciating, hence the common name.
In captivity life span years
He says it burys its colum in the sand and dont touch it.
It does not say its deadly just very painful. I have read somewhere that it is able to tear flesh trying to pull away from its sting. I can not find it in print, it is somewhere or I may have mixed it up with another one. I apoligize for no reffernce to back up that statement. I hope this helps you. Steve

Thanks Steve, I have to train myself not to touch it. It looks really cool. This is the first anemone I had that stuck to my tongs I used to move it over with. It really grabbed ahold of them. I dont wanna know how bad it hurts.

did you purchase it at the shark reef?
wil was kinda tempting with them, but the name alone spooked me into not getting one.
they are really cool looking though

Yes, I did purchase it at The Shark Reef, I looked thru them and found one with a slight green tint to it. It has since gotten nice green stripes through its "arms" and looks really cool. I aint touchin it still! It stays about right where I put it and I feed every other day or so, sometimes shrimp sometimes a silverside, seems to like both of them but eats the shrimp alot faster.
