How should I get my salinity up? 10 % water change? Remember I havent cycled yet, I was told not to do a water change w/o being cycled

You can simply take water out of the tank, add some salt to it mix it up and aerate it and toss the water back in. You want to raise the level slowly over time though, but you don't need to do a water change to raise it. Just re-use the water in the tank adding salt to it unless you want to switch to ro/di water and start flushing out the tap water

Thats a great idea krish.

A water change will prolong your initial cycle a little bit. Generally this is not a good idea, but certainly worth while to get your salinity up.
