Hey all. Looking forward to join the community. Just getting back into the fish thing and decided it was time to go to salt water. Looking forward to meeting you all, learning, and making a successful tank :)

Welcome to RF.
Glad to hear we have another moving into the salty side of things.
Tell us a bit about your setup, or plans on one :)

Well thanks for the warm welcome. I guess im going to start mall and do a 65 rectangular tank. Nothing to serious. I am going to set up an overflow and sump system with a live rock and live sand filtration, a protein skimmer, and a physical filtration. I guess i am having issues with the overflow with correct pipe dimension to figure out flow into the sump to get the correct pump for the return line. Anyway you guys can help me out already? haha

Hey There! and another BIG :welcome: to Reef Frontiers. Good to see that you a have a basic plan to begin with. A 60 gallon DT is a relly good starting size; big enough not to be too limiting and small enough not to break the bank although doesn't hurt to plan ahead and maybe purchase slightly oversized equipment that could handle 100-125g's.

Cheers, Todd

that is exactly what i was planning on doing in case of future upgrades! thank for advice todd
