i really need some help with some settings..first of all, every pic i take comes out blurry..if a fish moves at all, it shows up as a streak....could i speed up the shutter speed somehow??? i also can't get the camera to focus when i zoom in...any help will be appreciated!!!!

what kind of camera do you have? As far as the shutter speed goes, do you have a setting like "TV" on the camera? That stands for time value, which controls the shutter speed. That setting allows the camera to automatically adjust the aperture setting, helping to get an accurate exposure. You'll want to set the shutter speed to something like 1/125, watch out for the aperture to make sure the camera can take the picture correctly. I shoot transparencies, so I'm used to the "old school" way of doing things, these new fangled digital cameras are similar though.
So hopefully I didnt confuse you to bad, if I did let me know, IM lore than happy to help! :)

I was busy typing that long winded message before your bump! :)
Lighting is gonna be your enemy. Hopefully you can get a flash, or something. I haven't taken to many tank shots yet, so maybe someone else will have some better advice.
