Hi All,
I am setting up a 58gal soon and I was wondering if anybody could help in choosing a fish or two. I currently have a 30 cube mainly sps w/ a couple lps. For fish I have a mated pair of true percs and a springereye pseudochromis. For the 58 I was thinking of adding one of the reef safe wrasses or one of the dwarf angels. I also like six line wrasses but am not sure how one would be w/ the pseudochromis. Basically I would like something kind of showy that I can add to my existing fish load that would live harmoniously w/ the others. Thank you for any relayed experiences or recommendations.
See Ya,

fish

i have a flame angel in my 125 gal lps/zoo tank. i was told some drarf angels nip at corals and some don't. there isn't a way to tell if they will or won't before you buy them. i wanted the fish so bad that i set up a 55gal just in case the fish ate my corals, but after 3 weeks so far i haven't seen any bad behavior so i am keeping my fingers crossed. i guess the reason i am posting this is to let you know you are gambling a little bit if you put a dwarf angel with corals.
good luck!

Reefaddict,
That's kind of what I'm worried about w/ a dwarf Angel but I hear plenty not having a problem either. I think I am going to give up on the thought of a six line wrasse due to them being somewhat aggressive. I don't really want to worry about conflict as that seems to lead to stress and disease. Does anyone have experience w/ Leopard Wrasses,Fairy Wrasses or Flasher Wrasses? Do you think there would be a problem w/ my springereye w/ any of these? Would there be a problem if I chose a fairy or flasher wrasse that had a contrasting color to the springereye that he would not see it as a threat?
Thanks

Heres another one thats not supposed to work with corals, I one of my clients tanks He wanted angels and corals, I told him of the risks and added a potterri, bicolor, flame, coral beauty, bicolor, and a huge emperator. Its a 150 with lots of live rock. Nobody eats the coral, the potterri nips at the clams a little but no other problems. I like the dwarf angels and have in my experince seen few problem fish out of them. I know they are out there, maybye just luck, but I think red graccilla and quality food goes a long way to keeping them off coral. I hope that helps you. Steve
