I have a Green Bubble Tipped anemone
I've had it for close to 6 months, it's been doing great, it's 4-5x it's origional size (was about 5-6" across earlier today). grown to a nice dark greenish brown. hasn't moved since placing it in the tank 3 months ago (it didn't even move from it's hole in the rock when i swapped tanks)
hosting a pair of GSM's

it has been growing and looking great ever since I got it.

this morning it was looking great.

I just came in from working in the garage, and it looks like someone set off a firecracker inside it.

it's completely deflated, retracted into a rock.
and looks like it's puking up it's guts:eek:

the clowns are still sticking very close, and hosting in it's deflated tenticles.

everything else in the tank looks ok,

I'll test the water and take some pics if I can find the camera in a bit.

yesterday, water was all good

salt was about 1.024
amonia was 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 0

temp is holding at 80 (just a little warmer than the 78-79 I try to keep it at)
i did put an ice block in it earlier today due to it being so hot in the house.

the ice block was from tank water from yesterday.

Is it really just pooping?,,,,,,

Nelson must have moved to a place that does not have internet service:( Or he moved to Bellevue and is too good for us now:lol:

Actually I have been back nearly two weeks now and was just too lazy to write on this forum, instead I just read a bit.
And I did move to ballard

it looked a bit better by the time I went to bed,

it looks great today,

probably 10% bigger today than ever before.

really spread out and flowing.

it now dwarf's my gsm's

uploading new pix now.

Sorry that we're invading your thread krautburner, I'm glad to hear that the anemone is doing better.

jonathan, why dont you just PM or mail me if you wanna know;)

cause I am lazy.

... and I about freaked out when I saw my GBTA do that for the first time too.

we were thinking it was finally gonna split,

it's had a 2nd head growing out of the side of his foot since right after I got him

that's interesting. they usually split sort of down the middle. I have never seen one have a "second head". maybe it's a tumor?

I had some pics of him with the 2nd head coming out of his side,

but didn't feel like resizing them

still not sure if he's split,
both heads have there food wedged in a good sized hole in the rock
