Does anyone have an extra auqa lifter that works? My is crapping out on me and all the shops are closed tomorrow...
Please let me know thanks!

I have two of these I'm not using...but are you really in Spokane? Or Tahoma (I don't know where that is). I'm in Lynnwood, north of Seattle.

Yeah I live in Spokane. Tahoma is the indian name for Mt. Rainier and the name of the peak directly east of Rainier on its flanks. :D
Thanks though!

yeah, the pump stops lifting and starts making some horrible noise, then i have to go shut it off and blow the diaphragm out then restart the pump. that works for a half hour or so, then it stops again. arggg

well, if you leave it go the air won't build up that fast, will it? You should be able to let it alone until the morning, then suck out the air through the airline tube, check on it again at the end of the day, until you get your next pump, right? Also, there was another person on here who had a similar thing happened and he found that he could go with the gravity effect of a one-way valve on the end of the airline tube, feeding into the sump. the gravity pulled water and air out and kept the U clear. No need for a pump anymore.

What Jan said is correct. Aqua lifters are not needed for CPR overflows, etc. Just hook up a long air tube from the outlet to your sump and it will keep it clear and running great.

You can also put a line just constantly dripping water from the over flow to the sump. Or put a maxi jet or similar into the sump that way you don't get air bubbles in your tank and you also would not need an aqua lifter as maxijets are more powerfull. I used one in a 55 gallon for over a year without 1 problem. :)

sorry ,I just noticed I am repeating what others have already said !!!
