Not sure that the parts are the issue. I believe that it has something to do with the unregulated manufacturing process' that goes with the full piece of equipment. How many of those are certified. I think that is what the problem is. It may be the same LED chip, or the same switch, the manufacturing is where the issue is. I am not keen to burning my house down with a poorly designed lighting fixture, unless it is one I built then the whole neighborhood might want to watch out. But seriously, and not saying anything about the lights mentioned above because I have not seen them, but things are built at a different standard. Just my opinion. it may not be right but I am sticking to it.
Then comes the problem with warranties or parts replacement. A company over there is less likely to warrant or replace faulty parts, and customer assistance is probably going to be slim.
