help wanted with little giant

i have a lil giant 1100gal pump it is in not working order. if anybody has experiance with rebuilding them let me know ill drop it off and u can have at it. i traded corals for the pump so real big loss if u compleetly destroy it.

Can you give a little more information about what isn't working?

I would open the housing and check for impeller damage. That is a common pump problem.

impeller is fine yesterday it would turn and move water on the flat as soon as u put head preasure on it the sypon would stop now today motor dont turn and makes god awful noise.

yes i have impeller has no wear and spins freely as the motor so i know its not seized. but when i plug in it wont spin. even tryed hand turnig motor whyel energized just wont go. but un energized it spins freely hmm.

If the motor has gone out, or the bearings in the motor have gone bad and its not as simple as repairing the seals on the impeller housing I would send it to the recycler. It will cost almost as much to rebuild it as to buy a new one.
