LOL!! Couldn't say:p If you want a used skimmer though for a great price, I'd talk with Mark (skimmerwhisperer) here. He's the skimmer freak here and always has tons of them for sale. He's a really cool guy that I'm sure would be able to help in some way:)

Couldn't say because I've never used any of the CPR skimmers, let alone seen them in person, but Mark should know. He's probably messed with every skimmer out there! :)

Your skimmer will work just fine. The air will lift the water from the aqua clear. The Aqua clears pump will be supplying the water. Just make sure the skimmer is elevated just off the bottom of the aquaclear.

Where is the water going to go? The air movement will move some water, but only if it has a place to go.

Its nothing new and does not need to be debated. The design has been around for years. Air pushes the water up the center the effluent water leaves around the edges. Not the most efficient but it does work. Like Krish said wet dry's used and still use this design. Ive got a 12 year old one sitting in my shop. I also just put this exact same design on my pico just last week until I gave up and plumbed it to my 110 display.

Cwazy Clown, I have a cpr back pack if you want to pick it up in Tacoma. Needs a pump but you can have if you want. I also have a proclear 110 WD sump with skimmer and overflow. You can take your pick for free, both are very dirty but will be thrown away if I cant give them away.
