help with ID please (pics)

found these little guys on new lr please help identify(one has a pinkish color an the other more of a blue or purple tint)

1. what they are
2. whether they should remain in the tank or not
3. if they should remain how to relocate them

Looks like could be aptasia.

Maybe some kind of feather duster. (is there any kind of tube below them)

If not sure, nuc 'em. Get them early, not worth the risk of them spreading all over tank.

Looks like Majano Anemone. Almost as bad as Aiptasia...lol.

Majano anemones and they are not nearly as bad as aptasia, they spread way slower and are very easy to keep undercontrol as long as you are not over feeding your tank. (some people actually desire these) I once had 3 of them in my FOWLR and I also had aptasia. the aptasia went from a couple to 10 then to 20 and 50 and so on then I would kill them an repeat the process while the majanos were still at 3...

If the "tentacles" are flat (like a feather) then its a feather duster.

If it looks like a Mini-Anemone, then its a Majano.

IMO, I like some of the Majano's. Some stay pretty small, and have cool colors. A friend's tank has 3-4 of them that are bright red and green and don't bother anything.

Pink dot

If it has a pink dot in the middle which i think i seen than it is a rock anemone,pretty cool in my opinion.Some believe they will grow in plegue proportion,but i have had two for some time now and no plegue yet. besides where else can u get that kinda pink in your tank.They hitchike on live rock and are a cool thing to get a hold of.

Rock flower anemones can get up to 10'' I had one before and they have a very potent sting, I saw a pic on here a while back of one eating a large tang or angelfish..

Looks like a Jewel Anemone, I'd plan on removing them as fast as you can. Joe's Juice is another option..Best of luck...
