I am looking for a volunteer or two to help in the rebuilding and care with the 55 gallon FOWLR at Bellevue High School. I need someone to be the main contact person when the students need help and advise on certain topics and/or someone to really step up and help with water changes, water testing, and large equipment issues. I really hope I can find someone in the PSAS who lives or works in the Bellevue area to help with this large project.

For a little back round the aquarium has been up and running for just about three years now. With the little funding it has 6 fish with around 60lbs of LR and has a 29 gallon fuge as well. It is fairly easy to maintain with top offs and water changes every couple weeks and major cleaning twice a year.

Please let me know if you can help by PM or email. Thanks for your time guys!

Hi Zack,

As a BHS grad (92) I feel as though this is a way I can give back to my high school. Barrier Reef, as a store, is willing to offer BHS a large discount on livestock and supplies. We will test your water free up to once per week and log it on a spreadsheet for you. You'd have to bring the sample to us though. We could also be your contact for questions and could come by every now and then to help out with major problems. We are only about 10 minutes south of the school on I-405. Let me know....
