Hi, this is my first time here. I have been into keeping salt water fish since the last 4years now. I have kept mostly fish and a few invertibrates in a mini. 8months back i started off with a new, much larger tank, of 50 Gallons/ 193 liters, using crushed coral as my substrate with some amount of brown gravel that is available from asian seas. I have yet to collect 25kgs more of LR, since these things costs alot from where i am.
Now the reason for posting a message in forums is, that i am in DESPERATE help to actually know the name of a CORAL i have purchased a night before. I have looked everywhere but i was unable to identify its species. Can anyone help me in identifying it for me? and can anyone please guide me how much light it needs? for example, i am using 24inches of 2 tubes, blue and white. I use 9am-6pm white in the morning, and blue after 6pm-2am.
Other than this, i have 1 damsel in my main tank, 1 hermit, 2 shrimos, 1 snail, 1 thorny scallop and a songe. New arrivals to my tank are 2 clowns which are in the QT under hyposalanity treatment since last night.
I am posting an attachment, please guide me through keeping this coral since it is my first time ever that i have baught it.
Waiting anxiously for guidance.
