Well I just transfered my new 125 gallon tank to my house and am now in the process of cleaning, plumbing and setup. I have the fish in my 75 gallon tank for now. Just a sump with bioballs/etc. for filtration so I'm trying to speed the process up as to not torture them in the small tank. What I'm needing help with is, I dont have a DI cartridge for my RO unit. I thought there was one when I bought the tank, but I was wrong. I ordered one online but it wont be here till next week, and I am needing to start making water for the tank. If anybody has one they would be so kind as to let me loan it for a few days that would be awesome. Or if somebody has one for sale, or cash for a borrow let me know, I am willing to do whatever it takes. Thanks a bunch guys!

I personally dont use a DI cartridge on any of my water. I just use my 4 stage RO filter. I think you would be fine just using your RO filter for now to get things going. Does your HD carry them, I've seen them hit and miss at mine.

Do you need a cartridge or housing, or both? Try your local hardware stores. The HD near you is huge and they might have them. Also pool/hot tub supply places might too. You could borrow a DI setup from me, but I am really far from you. If you just need the cartridge, I could mail it to you.

jnarowe: Thanks for the offer. The HD by my place really doesnt have much either did lowes. I will just use the RO water until I get my DI unit, and then do over-regular waterchanges for a few weeks. Thanks.

Sounds good but make really sure there is no phosphate in your RO water. If you get a zero on that, you should be fine.
