just a quick little question hehe :p .
ok i got the tube gel glue thingy from you guys and i finally got tired of having to put back in place the corals everytime they fall :lol::oops: SO can i glue the corals under the water? or do i get the coral and the rock out and just put a little bit of glue on the rock and stick it in there or what's the deal? :p.... i remember Mark said something about it but i forgot :razz: .

thanks doods :D

and i hope you guys identify that milli in the elos tank soon :D ..... i'm still thinking about that coral  :p

Pat dry the bottom of the frag, put a small spot of glue on it, then put a some glue on your fingertip. Rub the fingertip glue into the rock and quickly place the frag onto that spot and hold a minute while the glue sets up underwater. With patience, works every time. The glue will peel off your fingertip in a bit or use a glove.

Yes. What Mike said is the best way. If you don't have gloves, and the idea of glue on your finger is a turn off, you can also just put the glue on the bottom of the coral and rub the glue covered surface back and forth on the rock you want to attach it to. Once it becomes a little sticky stop the rubbing motion and hold it in place for 10-30 seconds.

awesome doods thanks :D .
i don't mind having glue on my fingers ...for me i think it's entertaining peeling the glue off my hands/fingers  :p .
i hope i don't piss off my stylophora :p

I like hoding the frag upside down in the water so that the glue only gets on the base of the coral.

If extra glue comes out it hit's the waters surface and can be picked up by hand and will not be all over the coral.

hey doodette, +1 for what they said, but it is possible to glue with the gel stuff under water, but its a lot harder and messier. If you have seen any pics of my frags glued, a lot of times there is a huge ugly glob hanging off one side. That is the result of gluing under water heh! sometimes I just need to put a glob on my finger and push it in the gaps to make sure the piece stays put. I wouldn't recommend it but don't feel bad if you have to :p

i saw Fragman glueing tech..hold your frag with your thumb and your point ,,put glue on the tip of your pinky and put glue on your frag,,go in the water in the same time, with one hand,

rub your pinky with glue on the rock where you want to place your frag,,,then place the frag that you hold on your thumb and your point set on the glue spot,,hold for 30 secs done .

i saw he did that very slick and very effevtive,,good luck:)

quick question :p .
do you like cover your glue? or does it not matter?
because i used it and all but does it dry if i leave it open (it doesn't have a lid thingy :p ) or should i cover it with a little bit of paper or something?

Hi Gaby,

If its glue you got here they all have caps. We had one batch of the honey that had weak tips and if they broke the caps were useless. We have free replacement tips/caps for these if anyone needs one. Yes, you definately want a cap. Paper will just make a mess. You could try rubberbanding a piece of fish bag around the tip. You can also cut the tip down with each use to get past the hardened glue that is blocking the applicating tip. Hope that helps!
