Hiring a plumber?

Hello all! I've been out of the loop for a while, but I decided to check out the overhauled forum and get back into the community.

My husband is a master plumber and began his own business about a year and a half ago. He has helped me set up so many different aspects of my tanks including the sump and installing a reverse osmosis system for water changes. We haven't done any automated systems, but I've been looking into them. My question is...is there a demand for plumbers in the reef community? I just happen to be married to a plumber, but I can't even imagine what I would do if I wasn't. If I receive positive feedback, I would likely encourage him to begin advertising on the internet and at local fish stores. I don't see that anyone in our area is doing anything like that, so I don't know if there is a demand.

There are a few people around who need help with plumbing issues. But when dealing with pvc, it's so simple that most people figure it out on their own.
And the people who are totally afraid of risking water spills pretty much stay with tubing and hose connections.
Then there are a lot of plug and play systems these days that all you have to do is follow the directions.

I actually did hire a plumber to install a slop sink in my garage, but was able to figure out how to tap into that line for my rodi.
Then there is the always helpful people on the forums that give advice freely when people do ask those questions. I know I do, both give and receive advice.

Generally, not always, but generally, folks who are into reef tanks kind of have a DIY mindset. Many of the things we use commonly were invented, or repurposed by reefers when a off the shelf solution didn't exist. People used to DIY skimmers and lights and filtration...etc
That might be changing as tech has caught up a lot with the hobby, and has made the barrier to entry a little easier, but, that also means that the need for help probably has decreased also.
