Hitchhiker Project

I have been searching for the little buggers that have been eating my zoos. I think its one of those nudis Tom sent in. I am getting up at 2 and 3 am with a flash light. I still cant find them. Sooner or later I will and remove with tweezers and terminate them with extreme predjudice. I think a half cup of draino should be fair. LOL Thanks for the Idea Nikki, its looks like it is coming along well (hitchhiker project) that is. Steve

Steve,

During the day when the lights are on, look for a zoo that is closed or partially closed. Then inspect WELL. They will often take on the color of their host and they camoflauge themselves well. Chances are, you will find one or two.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention. They dont seem to like the red/burg or pink/reds which I have a ton of, only the green/orange, and yellow/greens/ and lightblue/browns I have a few of. What do you know. LOL

Yet another 7-leg  Asterina ;)

Here's an interesting creature I've found growing on the rock. Looks like a tube worm but I think it's a vermetid gastropod (snail) Serpulorbis imbricatus or S. medusae though.

Found two japanese videos of S. imbricatus:

You may need Quick Time player for those videos. The second one is quite funny showing a "kleptoparasite" Nereidid polychaete Perinereis cultrifera ingesting the mucus net of S. imbricatus

Hi hope this picy helps with the project...cant remeber what its call tho
