Dropping the pump into my tank. I've got about 40 g of saltwater on the floor.
Can anyone spare any? May need homes for livestock. Do not have enough quarantine space for all fish and critters.

Can pay for water, and going to need a fair bit. Can anyone lend a hand? Anyone know what to do for 40 g of saltwater in the carpet?

use a shop vac or go rent a rug doctor pull out as much as possible and reclean the area up again other wise it will smell like lowtide bummer man!!! i'd help u out but your to far north sorry

Well that was lousy. Wiped out a few of my montis, melted two yumas and burned my cats paw sps halfway down until there is only a little green skirt left on it. We'll see if that grows back.

No fish or anemone's were harmed though, could have been worse. I'm glad the extension cord was only long enough to let the pump slide half way into the tank.

Yikes, glad to hear no fish casualties! That's one of my fears when there are multiple hoses in the system.

Sorry to hear about your issues, It may look bad but I know in time you'll get it straightened out. Hopefully you can get some help and protect your livestock, just don't panic, it will be ok.
