How do i add tabs to my pc

i just got my pc back from being rebooted and i lost everything along with my add tabs bar

ive tried looking everywhere

it is the thing you hit when you wanna go to another site real quick but you dont wanna leave the one you are currently on, like for example your on here reeffrontiers and you wanna go to photobucket to get a pic real quick and up load it for some one to see some thing

please tell me how i get it back on my tool bar please

below your back and forward arrows are your two stars, favorites and add favorites. Next to that is you current tab. Next to that is a very small tab, click on it and it will open a new one.

On windows CTRL+T is new tab. What browser are you using?

make sure that you reinstalled IE7 if you reloaded your PC you may not have it as it is a windows update install for older SP2 installs....

hey thanks guys I'm using windows xp home edition

How do I download ie7 and firefix and all that stuff just wondering

And are they free???

Ill try all the stuff you guys threw at me but I doubt ill figure it out

Before the restore I had a tab out to the right on top of the web page that said add tab kinda like in a file cabinet where all the stuff is labeled and tells you what lied there in that folder

if you would like some help I would be happy to remotly log into your pc for you and do the repairs I am a Storage Area Network Engineer for WAMU bank and previously an IT manager for 10 years its no biggy to give you a hand...

also you can get IE7 by clicking on the tools then windows update within Internet Explorer and just check the the boxes you should do those updates anyways... Firefox can be downloaded at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

I would NOT recommend Internet Explorer at all. There are too many open holes that people can see you info, credit/debt card. WAY too unsafe. Like James said Firefox is A LOT safer and better overall IMO.

although I would have agreed with you a year ago Firefox is now just as easy to hack with viruses now aimed at it as IE. Its kind of like MAC's new OS Leopard under stress it turns out it has more holes than Vista! in this day and age they all can be easily compermised if you knew half of what I do in this arena it would scare you, then again maybe you do hehe....

I think I wanna go wit firefix like ed said though but really if I can I just want to add a add tabs button. But hey I got a free cyber defender antivirus 100% free and I'd like to keep that

Pretty much just let me keep what I got but u can work your magic and ill build you something out of wood if you ever need me to do so

I'd love to learn how to hack just to keep the people that hack my of in check and to report them

huh, lol well i got the update but it was for like ie but it just auto updated so i got it so ill just use it i got pretty good spy ware

im kinda getting frustrated though cause my pc will like click and stuff while im on it like its loading up something while im on a page just sitting or typing and its really annoying

its like its loading up dates or something!!

lol, yeah i can barely log onto my pc im lucky to know how to do that

im learing though

sorry did not see the replies to the thread for some reason let me know when a good time to work on your pc is we will get together online and take care of it for you as far as "hacking" is concerned it is not as easy as some may think and if you are not doing it for legal reasons such as when I used to do it for security checks you can find yourself in prison very quickly these days....
