How Do I Frag An Acan Lord?

So I need to frag my Acan. How do I do it? 40# sledge hammer? Chainsaw? Hammer and chisel? Or should I give it away and never, ever have to worry about it?

I have fraged similar corals with a sharp chisel and hammer. but be careful. hey if you have any remnants of it I would love a frag, I have been lookin for some acans..

Dremels work great. If nothing else use the dremel to cut a groove were you want it to break then use the hammer/chisel

The polyps are really smashed together. How do I avoid mincing the flesh?

You can't. Do the best you can to avoid spliting them. As long as water quality is good it should heal.

Cut with the dremel from the bottom, slice with a scalpel or razor on the top, break away.

I may have 10 finger frags and if you all are lucky, a couple toe frags. I am going to try to frag it first thing in the morning, so I may have some at the meeting...
