How do you clean filter socks?

Have done mine manually up to now using a heavy brush...is hard work.

Have thought about washing machine but am concerned about residual soap/bleach contaminating sock/tank.

Washing machine, no soap maybe a little bleach if needed.

same here, except I don't always use the bleach just ever once in a while. Like every 5th wash or so..

Mine pill when I use the washing machine, so I do it manually now. I turn it inside out and scrub with hot water.

When i used to use filter socks I like those 10x16 100 micron bags. I would install zippers in them so I could in less than a minute open them out flat on the concrete and spray them out good as new very easily without having to use a whole lot of pressure which will shorten their lifespan immensely
