Whenever I feed Cyclop-Eze (freeze-dried whole), much of it floats on the top of the water. It then ends up going over the overflow when the return pump turns back on. Any suggestions how to make it sink? I have tried mixing it in a cup of tank water, but a lot of it still floats when I dump it into the tank.

I try to target-feed some of the corals, so that won't be very efficient.

I tried everything to make it sink and failed. So, I stopped using it since it only fouled the water. Too bad since my microscope shows the critters are much more intact with legs, oil drops, etc... than the frozen version.

I soak it in Zoecon for a while then drop it under the water level, its the water tension which stops it sinking so brake the surface whn you add it and it should sink.

I use a 1 Cup clear measuring cup and a turkey baster (my favorite tools), I soak the CyclopEze in a tad bit of water and 2 drops of garlic extract (kyloic liquid) then I target my hungry corals and anemone.

My fish know the baster as "god" :p all I have to do is reach for the baster under the tank and they all come running <well swimming>. The only fish(s) I feed on purpose would be my banded goby and my sand perch, rest of them take what the corals miss.
