How many people have flame angels that don't bother there clams?

I was thinking about getting a clam i have a flame angel so i am a little nervous. I know that each flame has there own personality but just wanted to get a rough idea on odds of a flame not picking at a clam. I have 8 other corals that my flame doesn't touch don't know if that would help.

I have a Flame angel and a Crocea clam and as far as I can tell it has never nipped the clam,thats not to say it cant happen.

I have a flame angel and 4 clams (3 crocea, 1 derasa). They've coexisted for almost 10 months now. One day last October or November, the flame angel started nipping at all 3 croceas all day long. For the entire day the croceas were retracted into their shells and I thought for sure I'd have to get rid of the angel. But the next day he left them alone. And the next day. And the next day. He's not bothered them since. Interestingly, that day he bothered the croceas, he didn't touch the derasa. I think the key is making sure the flame angel is well fed, that way he won't be hungry enough to try things he otherwise wouldn't eat.

is a flame angel the same as a flame-back angel? purple and orange on the top? If so, I have one living with a crocea and he doesn't bother it.

Nope, flame angels are bright orange with black stripes.
