*happy dance* she must've got her vortech today. get a tape measure out and look at it from the side.

ROFL! I thought she wanted to buy one and wanted to know the thickness to drill it or something:lol: And I was googling it!:p
 
also, make sure to not turn up the Vortech all the way for the first 24 hours as it has to seat the bearings.
 
Its 3/8"........Got the vortec installed. Needs to be some rock rework though.
Pretty cool gadget.

just make sure to not turn it up all the way for the first 24 hours. they recommend you leave it on the lowest setting.

Got it set on low. Hey Matt how warm does your speed control box stay? This one is fairly warm but not hot to touch.

the driver box temperature is 92 degrees. the motor of the vortech is running about 100 degrees. i have it running about 3/4 of the way though.
