How to catch a snapping shrimp

I have to get a snapping shrimp out of my nano. Can I vacuum him up with all the sand with a siphon into a bucket or would that kill him in the ride?

Would a baited pop bottle trap get him?

I used one to trap my peppermint shrimp - just put it in when the lights go out with a piece of silverside in it. It took an hour and a half - don't leave it overnight though if you have fish that will fit in it. You can use any rinsed plastic pop bottle.
